So apparently Wednesday is the German Zone's pday in the MTC instead of on Monday. However, it is only really in the morning that we really feel the effects of it. My whole first week was wonderful(even though it feels like a month.) My ONLY companion is Elder Dowdy, He's from Florida, but I already told you that in the letter that you have probably recieved by now. first day, we found a huge stash of goodies left behind for "the next missionaries" by an Elder Mackay. It was awesome. we have since found a box of candy that an elder recieved as a care package but couldn't take it with him when he left, so we are leaving that for the next missionaries. This next attachment is of the majority of my district plus the mini district Left to right it is: Elder Dowdy(My Comp), Elder Collins(The only Berliner not in Zone C), Elder Meyers(Elder Collins' Comp), Elder Stephen(his Comp, Elder Russell is from Rexburg, ID and is taking a picture), and Sister Hadfield(The Solo Sister of Germany). Zone C is not pictured but it consists of Elder Mayer, Elder Allen, Elder Burns, and Elder Crowther(Paired by Companionships). on Saturday night a Tie Draft was held in our Dorms, I put in my purple paisley tie(the ugly one, Ask Chris) and it was the third one chosen! I was second to last to be able to choose But I got a tie that just looks ugly from a distance but when you get close, it is covered in tiny Multi-hued frogs!! It's awesome but it's in a bad shape. (Anyone Know/have the materials to restore a tie? it's pretty floppy and a little shapeless). On sunday, we "went on a temple walk." It consisted of us waiting around in the main MTC courtyard waiting(picture 0013, Elder Mayer, Elder Allen, Elder Myers, Elder Dowdy for the member of the branch presidency who said he was coming with us(Picture 0014 is all I could see of the temple, It's not the obvious white thing. that's a telephone pole. Temple's off to the left.) Pic 0018 is one of Elder Dowdy's rare smiles.(They've been getting more common as we've been here) He was taking a picture of Elder Myers taking a picture of him and etc. Elder Myers Recieved a package from his mom with a plush Batman and about 7 plastic Batarangs(He really likes Batman. He gave each of us one and we keep them in our suits. Also, Thanks for the package, Everyone's really excited for Homemade PB&J. I'm low on Excercise clothing could you send me my BYU-I sweats and my TLoz T-shirt and about 2 others of your choosing?) The Italians who were our trainers(the Germans left like 2 weeks before) invented a reverse picpocketing game to practice putting pass-along cards in people's pockets except we use plastic spoons. and if anyone has 3 (we limited it to 11 specific spoons) then they have to sing a hymn, chosen at random from the german hymn book. I am surprisingly good at the game. we have a practice investigator named Carola and she's awesome. In our first lesson, Totally had the gift of tongues. It was amazing! anyway, my 60 minutes are almost up so I will end by saying, I love you all, The Church is true, and the lord knows you personally and knows you for who you are. I can feel your prayers. I pray that god will help you every night. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
